Happy Easter! Going through my files I found these two images worth posting from a visit to the Mission back in 1985. I shot these with a Canon AE-1 and Ilford FP-4 film developed in D-76.
Yosemite National Park: Vernal Fall
The hike up the trail to Vernal Fall is quite amazing, and it will take you longer as you stop to take photos along the way. This is a photo of the base of the fall with Kodak HIE infrared film loaded in my Leica M6 with an 87C filter attached.
Lighthouse in Sequim, Washington
A short photo story on the trek to the Dungeness Lighthouse in Sequim, Washington. The time of year was late Fall, and the air was crisp. The walk to the lighthouse is six to eight miles along the Dungeness Spit. Water surrounds the spit with the ocean on the north and a bay on the south. I used my Canon EOS1-N camera with Agfa 100 black and white film. A Leica M6 with Fuji Velvia.

It’s Fall
Autumn in Silicon Valley. Back to the grind motif in San Jose, California. Canon 5D Mark III with 70-200 2.8L II. Processed in Capture One Pro using Capture One Styles B&W series. A final tweak in Photoshop.
This Fall I discovered a classic book by André Kertész “Paris, Autumn 1963” at a Barnes and Noble bookstore. The photos he selected for the book. The images are amazing! A week later I found an old BBC interview on YouTube that I saw years ago. The program was great to see again.
